I'd be inclined to stick with Randolph. The defences confidence is high at the moment.
Also, by keeping Randolph in (no pun intended) ;-), it will let Adrian know that he has a fight on his hands...that can only be a good thing..

Re: Randolph

I'd put Adrian back in on the very simple assumption that he's probably the better keeper. It's not as if he's been absent through a drop in form. As someone else has said down the thread, Randolph has put down a marker and this may make Adrian less prone to the fuckwittery he sometimes demonstrates.

It strikes me that Bilics philosophy is that players have to win their place back after being out! I've got a feeling Randolph might start against City!
He's played well in all the games and saved a couple of dead certs including last night when we were only1 up!

Re: Randolph

Adrian is a much bigger pressence and personality which is important for keepers, plus he's been consistantly solid over a long period. He is our number one and will go straght back into the side! Randolph has proved in the 3 games that he is a capable back up which is what you would expect.

I also think Adrian is better but Randolph has shown himself to be a decent deputy. Playing him in the cup games maybe.

True, Randolph has done nothing wrong, but all he has done is confirm that he is a worthy deputy and send a message to Adrian that he's got competition for his place. Adrian back in against City for me - you've got to show confidence in your no.1.

It's not that difficult for Bilic.
Play Randy against City. If he keeps a clean sheet, happy days. if we get destroyed, bringing Adrian back will appear reasonable to everyone.

I don't think he's a great goalie but has done well. I think Adrian is better and should be back in. I don't think he's a great goalie neither. If we bought a mustard keeper I'd be well happy.

It's a tough one. If Adrian was a great keeper then i'd see the logic in bringing him straight back.
He is good, but not a great, so if I were manager i'd be inclined to tell Randolph it's his place to lose. Big him up etc but tell him a drop in form will see Adrian come back.
